Nuke 15.1 | Effortless Roundtripping with OpenTimelineIO

First introduced in beta in Nuke 13.2, with continuous refinement based on your valuable feedback, OpenTimelineIO (OTIO) is now ready to take your workflows to the next level. OTIO is the next evolution in timeline exchange formats, surpassing traditional EDL and XML. OTIO makes it easy to share multi-track timelines between applications, retaining valuable metadata such as effects, editorial markers, and reformat properties in an easy-to-understand JSON text file, making it procedurally manipulable with Python for endless customization. Importing OTIO into Nuke Studio reproduces your timeline faithfully, with any issues highlighted for troubleshooting. Effortlessly round-trip timelines through Hiero using OTIO, managing multiple video and audio tracks, effects, locked tracks, keyframed time warps, blend modes, transitions, and tags. OTIO files can also be opened in other editing software, although some properties may not transfer if unsupported. Download Nuke 15.1: Learn More: Questions or Feedback?
