Electro Nation - World Electro Dance 2021

Roughly 11 years ago, I came across ’Rock This’, a video from MaidioTec. This was a very famous YouTube channel in the electro dance scene. He made few of the most classics videos in the history of electro dance. Textbook stuff. His videos (and Spoke’s) where the first ones I have seen that inspired me to start dancing electro towards the end of 2009. I danced for few years but eventually stopped, though throughout the years I have kept an eye on the evolution of this dance and culture. Sadly, MaidioTec seems to have first deleted his videos, and later delete his channel all together (Spoke has done a similar thing, only keeping a handful of his legendary videos). One of my favourite works of MaidioTec, was a video compilation he made of the countries where there was an electro dance movement. That was something I had never seen on the internet before, and I remember 13/14-year-old me being quite amazed about it. Thankfully, some good soul saved the video and uploaded it on YouTube: At the time I also had myself a YouTube channel called MaidioTecExtra (there was one per country going on but somebody had already taken the ‘MaidioTecItaly’ name, so I had to be creative about it). In 2011, I decided to make a world of electro dance video similar to the original one from MaidioTec. I wanted to see how, much had this culture and movement expanded since 2009. I had found that the electro culture was alive in at least 70 countries in the world. (link if interested: ) 10 years later, I have asked myself: What happened to Electro Dance? Is it still danced all over world? Me seeking an answer to those questions led to this video.
