Israeli Soldiers Trapped by Hamas Grenade Assault

These Israeli paratroopers dodged gunfire and grenades during this attack by Hamas fighters in Khan Younis. One Israeli soldier is injured by the gunfire and falls, but soon gets back up again. There are more Israeli soldiers in the other rooms, they attempt to regroup with the others but are cut off by the intense gunfire. Then a grenade is thrown into the room. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that all the paratroopers involved in the fighting survived, although seven were wounded. While the previous footage was filmed in Khan Younis in January, on Monday Israel said it was still engaged in heavy fighting in the city. It released this footage of what it claimed was its troops battling Hamas and Islamic Jihad fighters. Last Sunday, Israel claimed it had killed more than 100 Hamas fighters in another operation in Zaytun. More than 30,000 Palestinians have been killed in the war so far.
