Today’s release is a bit special since it isn’t an orchestral track, nor an original song! This is a remix made by Malachi Mott of an old song of mine, “Onward“, which I made with Princess Luna’s singing voice herself, Aloma Steele, and which is featured in the new A State of Sugar album, Eclair! Speaking of which, here are some info about the liveparty: This remix has quite a summer-ish vibe which, in my opinion (even though the sun is not quite there in Belgium... Summer was not as hot as last year tbh) In any case, I’m very happy how it turned out - Malachi did an incredible job with this one! :D For those who don’t know, Aloma Steel is the Singing Voice Actress of the beloved Princess Luna - she sang “Luna’s Future“ in the episode “A Hearth’s Warming Tail“ (S06E08) as well as “Lotta Little Things“ in the episode “Between Dark and Dawn“ (S09E13) Be sure to check the original song I made with her 4 years ago! - - Malachi used to work at Interscope Records, then Icon Collective, and now is teaching mixing at 1500 Academy. He’s versed in many styles while working with some huge people, from Ty Dolla $ign to Sia. Big thanks to him for this incredible remix! :D Speaking of which - big news: a FULL REMIX ALBUM (10 tracks) is in the making, with remixes of my old (and not so old) songs! If everything goes well, another one will be released for Halloween, on Oct. 31st. Then, theoretically, it’ll be one per month starting December (this is when I plan to start the pre-order of the album)!
