All-new 2025 Nio ET9 - Best Magnificent Electric Sedan | et9 Specs Features the Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer NIO revealed its latest addition to the lineup, the ET9, a long-wheelbase executive sedan. Notably, the vehicle introduces a self-driving chip developed in-house, making it the pioneer in employing the advanced five-nanometer process technology within China’s automotive sector. The ET9 executive sedan is positioned in the same class as Mercedes Benz’s Maybach and Porsche’s Panamera series. The flagship executive sedan, featuring exclusive technologies like an advanced yet lightweight chassis system and a high-speed charging battery pack, showcases NIO’s dedication to reshaping the upper premium vehicle market. In terms of exterior design, it is similar to the EC7, an electric car in the form of a crossover coupe, but the ET9 will be smaller in size. and comes in the form of a sedan with a coupe-style fastback roof. The front grille adopts the closed design commonly seen in electric cars. The LED Double-Dash DRL lights are arranged in a set, and the LED lighting assembly is enclosed within a black trapezoidal frame located at the bottom. Among its notable features, the vehicle includes hidden door handles, four frameless windows, an active retractable rear spoiler, and sizable 23-inch wheels. NIO further highlights that the ET9 will feature a trunk that operates with contactless electricity, allowing for convenient opening and closing. The exact dimensions are 5324mm in length, 2016mm in width, and 1620mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3250mm. The 23-inch wheels feature non-rotating Rolls-Royce-style center caps, ensuring constant visibility of the Nio logo. The rear is adorned with an active spoiler inspired by jet design. Stepping inside the ET9, you’ll experience a sophisticated ambiance with numerous LCD displays. The central control screen measures 15.6 inches, while the two rear passenger screens are 14.6 inches each. Additionally, a rear console features an 8-inch screen for the convenience of passengers. The car is also equipped with digital rearview mirrors. The ET9 is designed to accommodate four seats in a 2 2 configuration, emphasizing a modern sense of luxury. The interior is fully equipped with a suite of convenient features, providing a first-class airplane experience, particularly in the rear row with two separate seats in a first-class style. The backrests in this section can be adjusted up to 45 degrees for enhanced comfort. Passengers will discover folding tables and a mini fridge inside the ET9, adding to the convenience and comfort of the ride. In terms of power, the New ET9 will feature dual electric motors. The front motor generates 180 kW or 241 horsepower, while the rear electric motors produce 340 kW or 456 horsepower. Combined, they deliver a total power output of 520 kW or 697 horsepower. The ET9 is constructed on Nio’s third-generation platform, showcasing the innovative 900V Architecture—a pioneering feature in China—operating at the highest voltage of 925V. This design allows for swift charging with a peak power of 600kW and a peak current of 765A. Nio claims that this technology facilitates an ultra-fast recharge of the 120kWh battery, comprising 46,105 cells, extending the range by 255km (approximately 160 miles) with just a 5-minute charge. As consistent with other Nio products, the ET9 supports a full battery swap in just 3 minutes. In terms of safety and technology, The all-new ET9 comes equipped with three lidar sensors, with one positioned in the center and two high-definition cameras located on the front edge of the roof.
