“Keep it simple,“ Bob Dylan famously told a young Eric Bibb at a party thrown by Bibb’s parents’ house in Hollis, Queens. You could describe his performance of “Turner Station“ in this edition of ’AG Sessions’ as simple, but it’s certainly not easy. Dylan’s advice, delivered to Bibb around the time of The Freewheelin Bob Dylan, stuck with the young blues guitarist, and as Bibb has gone on to record more than 30 of his own albums, his playing has always relied on an elemental blues foundation.
